Splunk Software Subscription Renewal

Background
The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Division of Early Childhood (DEC) is seeking to renew Splunk software subscriptions to address performance issues in the Childcare Administrative Tracking System (CCATS). The system was recently upgraded in September 2022 and has been experiencing slowness and requiring multiple application restarts. The Splunk software provides application performance monitoring and accurate user monitoring and analysis of the code to pinpoint the issues creating roadblocks for performance.

Work Details
The scope of work involves the renewal of Splunk Software Subscription, including Splunk Cloud Subscription with Standard Success Plan, Splunk APM Standard Edition with Profiling, and Splunk RUM Standard Edition. The contract will be awarded to the offeror(s) that best meet DEC’s needs based on the evaluation criteria. The anticipated term of the contract resulting from this solicitation shall begin on 04/10/2024 and end on 04/09/2025.

Period of Performance
The contract's period of performance is from 04/10/2024 to 04/09/2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be completed at the Maryland State Department of Education, Nancy S. Grasmick Building, 200 W. Baltimore Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21201.
