SOHYDFIT25- Hydraulic Hose & fittings for MDOT/SHA Princess Anne Shop

Background
The State of Maryland, through its State Highway Administration (SHA), is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to procure hydraulic hoses, fittings, and related accessories.

The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract that will provide these essential components to support the operational needs of the SHA. The contract aims to ensure timely delivery and compatibility with existing equipment used by the SHA.

Work Details
The contractor will supply and deliver Danfoss Aeroquip or equivalent brand hydraulic hoses, fittings, and related products specifically for the SHA's Princess Anne Shop in Somerset County, Maryland.

All products must be compatible with the Administration’s Coll-O-Crimp I Model T-400 crimping machine. Deliveries must be made within 48 hours of order placement during business hours (Monday to Friday, 8 am to 3 pm). The vendor must include assembly costs in their pricing and ensure all product costs cover parts, delivery, processing fees, overhead, taxes, insurance, labor, and profit.

Invoices must detail part numbers, quantities, MSRP prices, and discounted prices. The vendor is also required to provide factory-approved machine and tooling support as well as hose assembly training for SHA staff as needed.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence approximately on May 1, 2025, with a duration of three years or until the total contract amount is exhausted.

Place of Performance
The primary place of performance will be at the Maryland State Highway Administration – Princess Anne Maintenance Shop located at 10980 Market Lane, Princess Anne, MD 21853.
