Background
The Maryland Department of Information Technology (DoIT) is issuing this Purchase Order Request for Proposals (PORFP) to obtain data telecommunications services that will provide connectivity to various State locations served by a State data aggregation facility. The goal is to ensure reliable and efficient data services across identified locations, with the possibility of expanding services in the future through additional PORFPs under the Data Telecommunications Master Contract.
Work Details
The contractor will provide data telecommunications services from specified State aggregation points to designated termination points as detailed in Attachment 1. Services must meet or exceed technical requirements outlined in Section 2.3 of the Data Telecommunications Services Master Contract RFP No. F50B4400028. Key personnel must be provided within 30 days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). The contractor is responsible for maintaining end-to-end network availability at a minimum of 99.7% uptime and providing 24/7 maintenance support.
Invoices must identify 'networkMaryland™' as the recipient and include specific information as outlined in Section 2.13.2.1 of the Master Contract.
Period of Performance
The performance period for this contract is anticipated to be four years, commencing upon execution of the purchase order.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various State locations identified in Attachment 5, with specific starting and termination points listed in Attachment 1.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all requirements set forth in the Data Telecommunications Services Master Contract, including providing a project manager for transition plans, conducting criminal background checks for personnel working at high-security facilities, and adhering to invoicing standards. There are no specific M/WBE or other set-aside certifications required for this solicitation.
