Security System Upgrades for University System of Maryland at Hagerstown RFP# FSU-P25-09

Background
Frostburg State University (FSU) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for Security System Upgrades for the University System of Maryland at Hagerstown (USMH). The USMH is located at 32 West Washington St., Hagerstown, MD, and consists of a five-story building of approximately 77,000 gross square feet, along with additional classroom and office space. The current security technology has been in place for many years. This RFP seeks vendors to provide upgraded technology to enhance the security system.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing replacement and additional security cameras, access points, locking mechanisms, intercoms, and any other corresponding technology as specified in the Scope of Work. The contractor must supply all equipment necessary to replace existing access control and camera system components. Additionally, they will add more cameras, access panels, intercom systems, and a replacement emergency station.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution on behalf of FSU or a mutually agreed later date. The initial contract term is one year with five one-year renewal options.

The work will be performed at the University System of Maryland at Hagerstown located at 32 West Washington St., Hagerstown, MD.
