SC 1051-Rehabilitation and Improvements to Sanitary Sewers at Various Locations in Baltimore City

Background
The City of Baltimore, through its Department of Public Works, is issuing this solicitation for Sanitary Contract No. 1051 to rehabilitate and improve sanitary sewers at various locations within the city. The goal of this contract is to enhance the infrastructure related to wastewater management, ensuring efficient and effective sewer operations.

Work Details
The principal items of work for this contract include:

1. Sewer cleaning and closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection;
2. Open cut point repairs of sanitary sewers;
3. Cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining of sanitary sewers;
4. Excavation and replacement of segments of sanitary sewers via point repairs;
5. Manhole repair and rehabilitation work;
6. Sewer house connection (SHC) repair and rehabilitation work;
7. New manhole and cleanout installation work.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from the date of award until completion, with bids due by February 18, 2026.

Various locations in Baltimore City, Maryland.

Bidder Requirements
All contractors must be prequalified by the City of Baltimore Contractors Qualification Committee under the Prequalification Category B02552 - Sewer Construction. The cost qualification range for this work is between $5,000,000.01 and $10,000,000.00. Additionally, there are MBE/DBE goals set at 9% and WBE/DBE goals at 4%.
