RFP PUR26-037: Oracle ERP, SIS & Enterprise IT Consulting Support Services

Background
Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) is one of the largest school districts in the United States, serving a diverse student population across 208 schools and centers. The district has an annual operating budget of $2.3 billion and aims to provide exceptional educational opportunities, including college and career readiness programs.

The Board of Education is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to secure comprehensive Oracle ERP, SIS & Enterprise IT Consulting Support Services to enhance its operational efficiency and technological capabilities.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide full-cycle support for Oracle ERP release R12.2.10 and above, as well as Synergy Student Information Systems version Smax version: 2.8.5.003 and above. Services include system analysis, development, design, testing, training, knowledge transfer, and implementation across various applications including business applications, student applications, data warehouse systems, and mobile applications.

Specific tasks include:
1. Supporting Oracle E-Business Suite modules such as HRMS, Financials, Supply Chain Management.
2. Providing technical support for Synergy Student Information System.
3. Database Administration (DBA) support.
4. Change management and quality assurance.
5. Light project management assistance as needed.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on the effective date of the Notice of Award and will last for three years with an option for two additional one-year renewals.

Place of Performance
Services will primarily be performed at PGCPS's central administration headquarters located at 14201 School Lane, Upper Marlboro, Maryland 20772.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must demonstrate experience in maintaining large enterprise systems within a K-12 environment and have a minimum MBE participation goal of 15%. Offerors are encouraged to partner with local firms or subcontractors to meet expertise or MBE requirements.
