RFP PUR-26-007, Pre Qualification for Academic Supports and Intervention Services

Background
Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) is one of the largest school districts in the United States, serving a diverse student population across urban, suburban, and rural areas. The district aims to provide comprehensive support to students and families through its Community Schools initiative, which integrates academic support with health and social services.

This RFP seeks proposals for pre-qualification for Academic Supports and Intervention Services to enhance educational outcomes for students in need.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide high-impact tutoring services that include:
1) A minimum of two to three weekly tutoring sessions for K-12 students, including before, during, and after school;
2) Services for all student populations including General Education, Students with Disabilities, and English Language Learners;
3) A standardized curriculum aligned with Maryland Career and College Readiness Standards for Mathematics and English/Language Arts;
4) Support for PGCPS curriculum frameworks;
5) In-person and/or virtual lesson delivery;
6) Formal assessments to analyze student data;
7) Outreach initiatives to increase program awareness among families;
8) Qualified tutors meeting state certification requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon the signing of the Notice of Award and will last for three years, with an option for two additional one-year renewals.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various Community Schools within Prince George’s County, Maryland.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must have a minimum of three years of documented experience in educational or community-based settings. They must demonstrate a commitment to utilizing the PGCPS Community School Data Management System and provide evidence of organizational capacity. Vendors are required to submit financial documentation for review by the Office of Purchasing. Contracts may not exceed a total value of $4,000,000.
