The University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) is a global, public, and primarily online university dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality education to a diverse student population, including working adults and military personnel. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP# 92232) is to engage qualified training facilitators or firms to provide professional training facilitation services aimed at enhancing skills and competencies of participants across various topics aligned with organizational goals.
Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for delivering high-quality, interactive training sessions to global staff and collegiate faculty. The services include:
1) Training Preparation: Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand training objectives and customizing materials;
2) Training Delivery: Facilitating virtual training sessions via Zoom, managing participant engagement, and providing technical support;
3) Evaluation and Feedback: Providing summary reports on attendance and feedback;
4) Types of Training include courses such as 'Maximizing Our Success Together', 'Foundational Workplace Communications Skills', 'Leading from the Middle', among others, with anticipated participation ranging from 40 to 1800 participants per year.
Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to commence on or around June 1, 2026, and continue through June 30, 2029, with two optional one-year renewals.
Place of Performance
Training sessions will be conducted virtually for staff located globally, including team members in Europe and Asia.
Bidder Requirements
Proposers must demonstrate five years of experience in training facilitation, preferably in higher education. They must provide resumes for key personnel who will deliver the services. Additionally, proposers are required to submit a Certificate of Insurance verifying coverage for Commercial General Liability and Professional Liability.
