Background
The Baltimore City Public Schools (City Schools) is the fourth largest public school system in Maryland, serving approximately 76,000 students across 156 facilities.
The system operates under the governance of the Board of School Commissioners and has an annual budget of approximately $1.3 billion.
This Request for Proposals (RFP-25015) seeks qualified architectural and engineering services for renovations to the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Program at Edmondson High School #400, aimed at enhancing educational facilities to meet modern standards.

Work Details
The selected Architect and Engineer (A/E) team will provide comprehensive planning, design, and construction administration services for the CTE Program Renovations at Edmondson High School #400.
Specific tasks include:
1. Conducting assessments of existing facilities to determine renovation needs.
2. Developing design plans that incorporate modern educational practices and technologies.
3. Ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.
4. Overseeing construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and timelines.
5. Engaging with stakeholders throughout the project to gather input and provide updates.

Period of Performance
The contract duration will extend until the completion of the construction project as per the agreed schedule between City Schools and the selected Offeror.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Edmondson High School located at 501 Athol Ave., Baltimore, MD 21229.
