RFP 138174 - On-Call Planned & Emergency Plumbing

Background
The University of Maryland, College Park is seeking proposals for on-call planned and emergency plumbing services. This solicitation is part of a Small Business Reserve Procurement aimed at enhancing economic opportunities for small businesses in Maryland.

The contract will support the university's mission by ensuring timely and efficient plumbing services for its facilities.

Work Details
Contractors will provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, supervision, and other resources necessary for planned and emergency plumbing projects. The projects may include tasks up to $200,000 and will be performed on an 'as needed' basis.

The successful contractors must be available to respond to plumbing needs as they arise, although the university cannot predict the frequency of these requests. All work must comply with the University of Maryland's General Conditions of the Contract and any additional specifications provided in the contract documents.

Period of Performance
The initial contract duration is two (2) years from the date of award, with an option for three (3) one-year extensions based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations within the University of Maryland College Park campus and its Service Center locations.
