Background
The University of Maryland, College Park (UMD) is the flagship institution in the University System of Maryland, recognized as a leading public research university. Work Details
The contractor will provide fresh sushi rolls in retail packaging, delivered each weekday by refrigerated truck to the Denton Dining Hall building loading dock. Deliveries are scheduled between 5:30 AM and 7:00 AM. Proper HACCP procedures must be followed during production, handling, and delivery.
Each retail container will include 6 to 8 one-ounce sushi rolls, wasabi, pickled ginger, and soy sauce. Containers must be tamper-evident with clear tops for visibility and must include ingredient labels and use-by dates. Delivery invoices must accompany each shipment and should detail product descriptions, codes, pack sizes, unit costs, and total amounts. Adjustments to invoices must be made for any damaged or incorrect items before leaving the delivery site.
The vendor is also required to provide a login for UMD Dining Services to access additional product information.
