PZ-478-231-002 - Hazardous Materials Remediation - Pikesville MD

Background
The State of Maryland, through the Department of General Services, is seeking a contractor for hazardous materials remediation at the Maryland State Police Headquarters located at 1201 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD.

The mission of this contract is to ensure the safe abatement and disposal of hazardous materials including asbestos, lead-containing ceramic tiles, and mold in the basements of Buildings A and B. The goal is to maintain a safe environment for personnel and visitors at the facility.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, insurance, etc., for the abatement and proper disposal of:
- Asbestos containing materials (ACM)
- Lead containing ceramic tiles
- Mold remediation in the basements of Buildings A and B.

The contractor is not required to replace any materials for surfaces and components that are abated or remediated. The project manual contains further details on specific requirements.

Period of Performance
The work must be completed within 180 calendar days from the start date of the contract.

The contract will be performed at the Maryland State Police Headquarters located at 1201 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD 21208.
