Professional Painting Services at the Glen Burnie MVA - Building A

Background
The Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to procure professional painting services for the maintenance and enhancement of the Glen Burnie Facility, specifically Building A.

The MVA serves as a central hub for key administrative functions and public services, making it essential to maintain a professional environment that supports both internal staff and external customers. This contract aims to preserve the facility's aesthetic, safety, and structural integrity through comprehensive painting services.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, insurance, supervision, tools, and transportation necessary to perform the painting services. Specific tasks include surface preparation, coating application, and compliance with industry safety and quality standards.

The contractor must ensure that all work meets or exceeds the standards outlined in the contract documents. Work must be performed outside of normal business hours to minimize disruption to MVA operations.

Period of Performance
The contract duration is 30 days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration Glen Burnie Facility located at 6601 Ritchie Highway, Building A, Glen Burnie, Maryland 21062.

Bidder Requirements
This procurement is designated as a Small Business Reserve Procurement; only certified small business vendors are eligible for award. Bidders must have a minimum of five years of experience in providing comparable professional painting services within the past seven years.

Additionally, bidders must submit a Reference Checks Form listing at least three references for similar projects. The contractor must also maintain required insurance coverage including Commercial General Liability and Workers' Compensation.
