This solicitation aims to provide Private Duty Nursing (PDN) Services for students with documented health issues, ensuring they receive a free appropriate public education (FAPE) as mandated by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

Work Details
The contract involves providing Private Duty Nursing Services for CCPS students who require constant monitoring by a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN).

These services are essential for medically fragile students during the school day to ensure their health and safety while accessing their education. The solicitation seeks to qualify multiple licensed nursing agencies or individual nurses capable of fulfilling these requirements.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period is one year from the date of the Notice of Award, with an option for four additional one-year renewals based on performance and mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations within Charles County Public Schools in La Plata, Maryland.
