Presidential Search Services RFP

Background
The purpose of this solicitation is to procure services of a consultant to assist in the Presidential search for St. Mary’s College of Maryland. The Board of Trustees is the legal governing body of St. Mary’s College of Maryland and has, among its responsibilities, the selection of the president.

Work Details
The Contractor shall develop a recommended approach for recruiting, screening, and evaluating candidates (search methodology) including a timeline for activities.
The Consultant shall conduct active outreach and solicitation of a diverse pool of individuals from inside and outside academia with superior qualifications to encourage them to become part of the pool of prospects.
The Consultant shall be responsible for performing research and background investigations on all individuals seriously considered for the Presidency by the Search Committee.
Consultants shall work closely with the Search Committee and its staff to develop and evaluate a pool of candidates for the Search Committee’s consideration in filling the position of President.

Period of Performance
Performance under this contract commences on the date of award through June 30, 2025.
