Work Details
The project includes removing two trees, scarifying and regrading the existing gravel road and parking lot base gravel in preparation for new asphalt, milling existing asphalt driveways and road where new paved surfaces will meet existing, installing and compacting new gravel in roadway where necessary to bring road base up to desired contours, installing new asphalt base course and surface course, grading shoulders and installing new fill dirt and CR-6 road edge using established Unit Prices #1 and #2, site restoration and cleanup.
The contractor must be licensed in the State of Maryland as a General Contractor and have a minimum of three years’ experience performing similar construction projects.
The limits of work associated with the installation of new paved surfaces shall be marked in the field by the DNR Project Manager with paint, stakes, or other suitable means.

Period of Performance
The work shall be completed within 60 calendar days from the date of notice to proceed. All work shall be scheduled through and approved by the DNR Project Manager during the work initiation meeting.
Work shall be Monday through Friday during the normal hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm unless approved by the DNR Project Manager in writing.
