Palo Alto VM Firewall

Background
The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) is issuing a Small Procurement for a Palo Alto VM Firewall as part of their Customer Connect initiative. This procurement is designated as a Small Business Reserve, meaning only certified small business vendors are eligible to bid. The goal of this contract is to enhance network security through the deployment of Palo Alto's advanced firewall solutions over a two-year agreement.

Work Details
The contract includes the provision of Palo Alto VM Firewall software and associated services. Specifically, the vendor will supply:

1. 70 units of PAN-SOFTWARE-NGFW-CR, which are Software NGFW Credits to deploy VM-Series, CN-Series, Subscription Services, and Virtual Panorama to manage software firewalls for both years of the agreement (2025-2026 and 2026-2027).

Additionally, the vendor must provide installation and training services as well as an extended warranty for the equipment. All products must be new and unused, and a Letter of Authorization from the manufacturer must be provided if requested.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a two-year period starting from April 17, 2025, to April 16, 2027.

The performance location for this contract is at MDOT/OTTS, located at 7201 Corporate Center Dr, Hanover MD 21076.
