Painting Services

Background
St. Mary’s County Government is seeking competitive bids for Interior and Exterior Painting and Power Washing services at various facilities. The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive painting services that meet the needs of the county while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Work Details
The contract includes the provision of all labor, materials, hand tools, and equipment necessary to complete the painting jobs. Services include:

1. Stripping and refinishing doors and woodwork.
2. Caulking.
3. Preparing doors, windows, and walls for painting or staining.
4. Removing and installing wallpaper.
5. General maintenance and repair of existing paint and wallpaper.
6. Painting the exterior and interior of various facilities.
7. General clean-up of job sites and disposal of job-related debris.
8. Power washing various County Facilities.

The contractor must maintain a base of operations within 45 driving miles of Leonardtown, Maryland.

Period of Performance
The contract is for one base year with four one-year options for renewal, subject to mutual agreement on the anniversary date of the contract award.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various St. Mary’s County facilities.
