Merkle Wildlife Sanctuary - Resurface Entire Facility

Background
The Merkle Wildlife Sanctuary is managed by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR), which aims to preserve and enhance the natural resources of Maryland.

The goal of this contract is to resurface all roads and parking lots within the sanctuary located at 11704 Fenno Road, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772, ensuring improved accessibility and safety for visitors.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and insurance to complete the following tasks:
1. Overlay all existing roads within the sanctuary.
2. Overlay all parking lots within the sanctuary.
3. Specific work includes:
- Unit Price #1: 'Overlay Surface Course' with an estimated quantity of 1,500 tons.
- Unit Price #2: 'Road Patching' with an estimated quantity of 450 square yards.
4. All work must comply with the specifications outlined in the project documents including allowances for labor, materials, removal, overhead, profit, and insurance.

Period of Performance
The contract duration is set for 90 calendar days from the date of award.
