The Maryland Department of Health is seeking bids from SBR Master Contractors for the renewal of IBM maintenance and support services.
This contract aims to ensure the continued operation and support of IBM products used by the department, aligning with their mission to provide effective health services.

Work Details
The contract includes the following services and products:
1. Hardware and Software Maintenance and Support for IBM Model 8286-41A Production System (SN# 21-9AA3W), including Processors, PowerVM Standard Edition, and IBMi Version 7.4 OS Support.
2. Hardware and MCP Remote Support for IBM 7042-CR9 HMC (SN# 21-4542D).
3. Maintenance and Support for IBM 7226-1U3 Multi Media Enclosure (Serial# 97A1012) with one New LTO 7 Tape Drive and one LTO5 Tape Drive.
4. Additional support for a spare IBM 7042-CR8 HMC (SN# 21-0FAAD) and another Multi Media Enclosure (MDF) with LTO5.
5. Rackmount Flat Panel Console Kit (SN# 10-6313X).
All equipment maintenance and support coverage will be available 24/7.

Period of Performance
The contract is set to commence on June 8, 2025, with maintenance services expected to continue for a duration that aligns with the specified support requirements.

The services will be performed at the Maryland Department of Health located at 201 W. Preston Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.

Bidder Requirements
This is a Small Business Reserve Procurement limited to certified small business vendors as defined by the State Finance and Procurement Article, §§14-501—14-505, Annotated Code of Maryland.
Only Master Contractors authorized under the Commercial Off-the-Shelf Software (COTS) Master Contract are eligible to submit bids.
