Janitorial and High-Touch Area Cleaning Services

Background
The Anne Arundel County Department of Social Services is seeking to procure daily janitorial services for Harmony House, a foster care home located in Pasadena, MD. Additionally, specialized janitorial services are required for the childcare area within Suite B of The Family Support Center at 80 West Street, Annapolis, MD.

The goal of this contract is to ensure a clean and safe environment for infants and very young children by maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Work Details
The contractor will provide daily janitorial services at Harmony House in Pasadena, MD, which includes cleaning common areas, restrooms, and other facilities as necessary. Specialized cleaning services will be required for the childcare area in Suite B at The Family Support Center in Annapolis, MD. This includes frequent and detailed cleaning protocols tailored to the needs of infants and very young children.

All cleaning supplies and equipment must meet safety standards appropriate for use around children.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on August 27, 2025, and conclude on September 16, 2025.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at two locations: Harmony House located at 3701 Mountain Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122 and The Family Support Center located at 80 West Street, Suite B, Annapolis, MD 21401.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws. They must also provide proof of registration with the State Department of Assessments and Taxation if not organized under Maryland law.

Insurance requirements include:
- Commercial General Liability Insurance with a minimum coverage of $1 million per occurrence
- Business Automobile Liability Insurance
- Workers’ Compensation Insurance as mandated by Maryland law.
