Invitation to Bid - Commodore John Rodgers - GMP 2

Background
The Maryland Stadium Authority is issuing this contract for the construction of the Commodore John Rodgers Replacement School. CAM Construction is providing Construction Management (CM) services for this project, which aims to replace the existing school with a new facility designed to meet LEED Silver certification standards.

The project follows previous work completed under GMP-1, which included demolition and site preparation.

Work Details
The work under GMP-2 consists of constructing a new 119,000 square foot elementary and middle school. Key components of the construction include:
- Steel framed superstructure
- Metal deck
- CFMF (Cold Formed Metal Framing) exterior walls with brick veneer
- Metal panels and curtainwall
- New Aluminum Storefront
- TPO (Thermoplastic Olefin) Roofing System
- Interior finishes.

The school will remain unoccupied during the construction phase.

Period of Performance
The bids are due by 4:00 p.m. on October 22nd, 2024, with construction expected to commence shortly thereafter as part of the GMP-2 phase.

Place of Performance
The construction will take place at 100 N Chester Street, Baltimore, MD 21231.
