Hqotts2543 - Sha - Cisco Security Firewall Devices For Backup Circuits

Background
The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) is seeking to improve the SHA backup connection by procuring Cisco Security Firewall appliances. The goal of this procurement is to create VPN connections from Comcast commodity internet boxes back to Glen Burnie/TSO firewalls, enhancing the security and reliability of the network.

Work Details
The contract involves the provision of Cisco Security Firewall devices specifically designed for backup circuits. The vendor will supply new and unused equipment, including but not limited to:
1) Cisco Firepower 1010 NGFW Appliance, Desktop;
2) Cisco Firepower Threat Defense Threat Protection License;
3) Manufacturer's Extended Warranty for the Cisco Security Firewall devices.

The vendor must also provide installation and training services as required. All products must meet specified requirements outlined in the attached specifications.

Period of Performance
The procurement process began on April 3, 2025, with a bid due date extended to April 14, 2025. The period of performance will be defined upon contract award.

Place of Performance
The place of performance for this contract will be at MDOT/OTTS and delivery will occur at SNMS Warehouse located at 3916 Vero Rd, Suite A, Arbutus MD 21227.

Bidder Requirements
This is a Small Business Reserve Procurement limited to certified small business vendors registered in eMaryland Marketplace Advantage (eMMA). Vendors must provide a Letter of Authorization from the manufacturer, include a screenshot of the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP), and submit a Mercury Affidavit. Additionally, vendors must be registered to do business in Maryland through the Department of Assessments and Taxation (SDAT).
