Hampstead Valley IV Stormwater Management Facility Retrofit

Work Requested:
The project involves the retrofit of the Hampstead Valley IV Stormwater Management Facility. The selected contractor will be responsible for:

• Providing all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to complete the assigned tasks for the facility retrofit.
• Ensuring all work is performed in an expedient and timely manner, and within the specified timeframe.
• Beginning the project within thirty (30) working days after notification from the Carroll County Resource Management Division.
• Completing the project, weather permitting, within approximately 120 working days from the start date.

If the awarded contractor cannot begin within the designated timeframe, the contract will be offered to the next lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder.

This solicitation is issued by the Carroll County Office of Procurement, in cooperation with the Resource Management Division.

Background:
This contract is part of Carroll County's ongoing efforts to maintain and improve stormwater management infrastructure. The Hampstead Valley IV facility is a critical component of the county's stormwater management system.

Contract Requirements:

• Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Carroll County Department of Public Works prior to the bid opening.
• Pre-qualification must be for the type of work applicable to this project.
• Pre-qualification application forms must be submitted to the Division of Engineering at least ten (10) days before the bid opening.
