Generator Preventative Maintenance And Repairs Charles H. Hickey Jr. School - Cancelled

Background
The Department of Juvenile Services (DJS) of the State of Maryland is seeking bids for a contractor to provide a two-year preventive maintenance service and emergency service for all emergency generators, transfer switches, and associated electrical and mechanical components at the Charles H. Hickey Jr. School.

This initiative aims to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations, including the National Electrical Code and local ordinances.

Work Details
The contractor will provide quarterly preventive maintenance services on the following generators:

1) MTU - Onsite Energy Model #30PJC6Dt4;
2) Kohler Model #kg125;
3) Kohler Model 125rezgc;
4) Kohler Model -100REZGD;
5) Kohler Power Systems Genset Model #48RCLA;
6) Kohler Model 125REZGC;
7) Kohler Genset Model – 150RCZGC; and
8) Elliott Power Systems Model #50RD.

The maintenance tasks include:
- Checking and tightening electrical cables;
- Inspecting fuel lines for leaks;
- Checking oil levels;
- Inspecting cooling systems for leaks;
- Testing air intake and exhaust systems;
- Conducting load bank tests;
- Maintaining logs of service performed; and
- Providing detailed reports after each service.

Period of Performance
The contract duration is two years, commencing from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Charles H. Hickey Jr. School located at 9700 Old Harford Road, Parkville, Maryland.
