Engineering Design and Permitting Services for the Reconstruction of Piney Run Dam

Work Requested:
The County is seeking a qualified engineering consulting firm to provide comprehensive engineering design and permitting services for the rehabilitation of Piney Run Dam (Maryland Dam No. 139, National Inventory of Dams MD00139), located in Piney Run Park, Sykesville, Maryland.

The selected Consultant will be responsible for:

• Engineering design of rehabilitation measures for the dam and its appurtenant features
• Design and implementation of erosion and sediment control measures
• Maintenance of stream flow during construction
• Stormwater management planning
• Environmental permitting
• All related analysis
• Preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates

Contract Requirements:
Only one Consultant will be selected to perform all services described in this solicitation.
