Dry Ice Purchase and Delivery

Background
The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) is a public institution dedicated to education, research, and service.
The university is located in downtown Baltimore and has a significant workforce and student body across various professional schools.
UMB intends to contract for the provision and delivery of Dry Ice products to support its operational needs.

Work Details
The contract involves the purchase and delivery of Dry Ice products, specifically:
1. Full 55-pound blocks
2. Sliced 5 x 11 pound blocks
3. 20 pound bags/boxes of 5/8” pellets

The vendor must provide the following services:
- Minimum of three (3) weekdays of campus deliveries per week to UMB and UMBC campuses.
- Orders must be delivered by the end of the following business day.
- Deliveries must be made inside at laboratory room/desktop; no dock deliveries are allowed.
- Missed deliveries must be rescheduled for the next day.
- The vendor must accept Visa credit cards and Purchase Orders issued by Strategic Sourcing and Acquisition Services.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025, with options for four additional one-year renewals at the discretion of the University.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to multiple locations on the UMB campus in Baltimore, MD, as well as to the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) located at 1000 Hilltop Circle, Baltimore, MD 21250.
