DOTS Special Events Staffing

Background
The University of Maryland College Park is the state's flagship university and one of the nation's preeminent public research universities. A global leader in research, entrepreneurship and innovation, the university is home to more than 40,700 students, 14,000 faculty and staff, and nearly 400,000 alumni all dedicated to the pursuit of Fearless Ideas.
DOTS manages approximately 5,000 parking spaces in five parking garages and approximately 40 surface parking areas for campus events such as sports, concerts, seminars, etc.

Work Details
The University wants a contractor to provide staffing to DOTS for campus events. The staffing requirements include parking lot attendants, handheld operators, supervisors, managers, and online digital parking permit sales via customer website portal for the sale of event parking permits. The contract primarily covers football and basketball games but may include other campus events.
DOTS anticipates requiring services for 7 football games with approximately 50,000 attendees arriving in approximately 10,000 vehicles and 17-20 basketball games with approximately 15,000 attendees arriving in 5,000 vehicles.
The contract term shall be for one (1) year starting from the date listed on the contract with up to four (4) additional separately exercisable one (1) year terms under the same terms and conditions.
