Background
The Maryland Department of Commerce/Office of Tourism is seeking the production of digital media and website development and maintenance for travel information content about the state. The State aims to attract and retain businesses, increase the workforce, and promote Maryland as a place to work and enjoy a high quality of life.
The Maryland Office of Tourism serves as the State’s official travel marketing agency, promoting Maryland’s attractions, accommodations, and services to increase visitor spending in the State.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide development or assist in the development and/or maintenance of websites, web applications, and digital media based on Project Requests from the Contract Manager from the Maryland Office of Tourism. The Contractor shall respond to Project Requests, provide a written scope of work, perform tasks according to approved specifications, provide appropriate storage of all documents and materials produced for Commerce, and maintain a current inventory listing.
The Contractor must work with Commerce’s in-house staff to complete projects as required. The Contractor shall employ subcontractors where specific outside expertise is needed and should consider all applicable MBE and VSBE goals when doing so.

Period of Performance
The contract duration is a five (5) year base period with no renewal options.

Place of Performance
The primary place of performance is as proposed by Offeror.
