Dialysis Medical Supplies

Background
The State of Maryland, through its Office of State Procurement (OSP), is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to procure Dialysis Medical Supplies for Deer’s Head Hospital. The contract aims to establish a reliable source of supply for these essential medical supplies, which are critical for the treatment of dialysis patients.

The Maryland Department of Health (MDH) intends to enter into an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with the successful bidder.

Work Details
The contractor will provide various dialysis medical supplies, including:

1. Dialyzer, polysulfone, high flux, single use:
- OptiFlux F160NRe; 12/case, Estimated Use: 400 cases
- OptiFlux F180NRe; 12/case, Estimated Use: 350 cases
- OptiFlux F200NRe; 12/case, Estimated Use: 415 cases
- OptiFlux F250NRe; 12/case, Estimated Use: 425 cases

2. Blood tubing sets:
- Combiset with split spectrum injection site; 24 sets/case, Estimated Use: 470 cases
- Bonded combiset; 24 sets/case, Estimated Use: 30 cases

3. Fistula needles:
- Various gauges and specifications; each type has an estimated use ranging from 8 to 25 cases.

All supplies must be compatible with Fresenius HiFlux Hemodialysis System Model 2008T machines and must be non-reusable. This is a no substitution solicitation requiring first quality products only.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a one-year base period with an option for one additional six-month period.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to Deer’s Head Hospital Center located at 351 Deer’s Head Hospital Road, Salisbury, Wicomico County, MD 21801.
