Background
The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is issuing this Purchase Order Request for Proposals (PORFP) to obtain data telecommunications services necessary for connectivity to State locations served by a State data aggregation facility.

The Department of Information Technology (DoIT) oversees this solicitation, which is part of their mission to provide centralized IT applications, data and telecommunications services, and IT policy for the State of Maryland.

Work Details
The selected contractor will provide data telecommunications services as outlined in Section 2 - Scope of Work. Key requirements include:

1. Meeting or exceeding technical requirements specified in the Data Telecommunications Services Master Contract RFP No. F50B4400028.
2. Furnishing key personnel within thirty (30) days from Notice to Proceed (NTP).
3. Providing services from the listed State aggregation point to corresponding termination points detailed in Attachment 5.
4. Maintaining end-to-end network availability at a minimum of 99.7% uptime for each installed circuit and providing maintenance support on a 24x7x365 basis.
5. Following security requirements including annual criminal background checks for personnel working at high-security facilities.

The contractor must also submit proper invoices identifying 'networkMaryland™' as the recipient and adhere to specified invoice submission procedures.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of two (2) years, commencing upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various State locations identified in Attachment 5, specifically including Boonsboro, MD.
