Crown High School - New Phase II

Background
The Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) is issuing an invitation to bid for the Crown High School (New) Phase II project. This initiative is part of their ongoing efforts to enhance educational facilities and support the community's educational mission. The contract aims to engage trade contractors for various construction services necessary for the completion of this new school phase.

Work Details
The project requires lump sum sealed bids for multiple trade packages, including but not limited to:

- 03A – Concrete
- 04A – Masonry
- 05A – Metals
- 08A – Door Frames Hardware Assemblies
- 08C – Storefront/Windows/Glazing
- 09A – Framing/Drywall/Ceilings
- 09B – Ceramic/Quarry Tile
- 09D – Resilient Flooring/Carpet/Base
- 09E – Painting
- 10A – Architectural Specialties
- 15A – Plumbing/HVAC/Controls
- 16A - Electrical.

Bidders must submit a qualification form prior to or at the time of bid submission. The project may also involve value engineering considerations.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and will be performed until project completion. Bids are due by July 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
The construction will take place at Crown High School located at 9410 Fields Road, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20878.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders are encouraged to include Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) in their proposals and must submit required forms related to MBE participation as outlined in Section 008010. All bids must comply with prevailing wage requirements as specified in the bidding documents.
