Courier Services

Background
The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) is seeking courier services for daily scheduled deliveries between Lanham and the Annapolis metropolitan area. The purpose of this solicitation is to invite qualified, experienced firms to provide Courier Services for the Department on a daily basis and as needed basis to the Annapolis Metropolitan area.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for performing daily scheduled courier deliveries between Lanham and the Louis Goldstein State Comptroller’s Office building, as well as surrounding State Office buildings, located within the Annapolis metropolitan area. The contractor must have provided courier services for documents and boxes for a minimum of two years within the last five years preceding the date of this Solicitation.
The services entail transporting State documents to/from Lanham and the Annapolis Metropolitan area. The contractor must furnish an enclosed vehicle capable of transporting documents and boxes, and with all equipment necessary to perform the tasks identified herein.

Period of Performance
The contract duration is one year with two option periods of one year each.

The primary place of performance is 7800 Harkins Road, Lanham, MD 20706.
