Background
The Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to procure the services of a Motor Coach company to operate MDOT MTA Commuter Bus Routes 220, 230, 260, 240, 250, 335, and 345.

The goal is to ensure safe and reliable transportation services for commuters in the region.

Work Details
The Contractor will be responsible for operating the following routes: Contract A for Routes 220, 230, 260; Contract B for Routes 240, 250; and Contract C for Routes 335, 345.

The Contractor must provide all necessary coaches and staff to maintain and operate these services. Key requirements include:
- Providing and maintaining all coaches for Commuter Bus Services.
- Ensuring excellent customer service while achieving optimal On-Time Performance (OTP).
- The operation of the actual service may not be subcontracted.
- A mobilization period of approximately five days prior to starting the coach service is required.
- Monthly invoicing with specific documentation requirements including ridership data and revenue miles operated.

Period of Performance
The contract duration includes a fifteen-day mobilization period followed by five years of contracted services with one renewal option of two years.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed on specified commuter bus routes within the State of Maryland.
