Description

The Village of North Chevy Chase is seeking the services of a certified arborist to support the municipality in maintaining the health of approximately 270 canopy and understory trees in the municipal right-of-way as well as restoring the Village's overall tree canopy to advance the critical ecosystem services provided by trees, consistent with the values and benefits outlined in the Village's Tree City USA Proclamation. The contract would be for two years with three, one-year renewal options. The arborist would serve as an independent contractor to the Village, and not as an employee.
