Canariis Pump Repair

Background
The Maryland Department of Planning, through the Maryland Historical Trust, is seeking a contractor to replace a pump motor and pump on a Canariis DS 190-88 booster pump set located at Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum (JPPM). The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning of the pump system at JPPM, which plays a crucial role in supporting the park's operations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, overhead, equipment, materials, parts, incidentals, tests, supervision, and services necessary for replacing the pump motor and pump on the Canariis DS 190-88 booster pump set. Specific tasks include:

1. Replacing the existing pump with a new one that matches specifications.
2. Replacing the existing pump motor (Baldor cat. no. EJMM3711T) with a new motor that meets or exceeds current specifications including seals on the pump.
3. Diagnosing any further issues during installation and ensuring no leaks are present after installation.
4. Conducting comprehensive checks to confirm proper operation of the system post-installation.

Period of Performance
The work must be completed within 60 calendar days upon receiving the notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum located at 10515 Mackall Road, Saint Leonard, Maryland 20685.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must procure all necessary permits and licenses required by law for execution of work. They must comply with Maryland regulations regarding insurance and provide proof of qualifications through letters of reference or summaries of experience. Additionally, contractors must submit various documents with their bid including a signed Bid/Proposal Affidavit and Conflict of Interest Affidavit.
