Description

The Department of General Services (DGS) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) in order to procure the services defined in this Section 2, as specified in this IFB, from a contract between the successful bidder(s) and the Department of General Services for the purpose of providing marble & terrazzo floor restoration services in the Goldstein Treasury Building located at 80 Calvert Street, Annapolis, MD 21401, in the lobby and hallway floors as well as the second (2nd) floor elevator lobby and North & South hallways and the House of Delegates building located 6 Bladen Street, Annapolis, MD 21401, a small area on the first floor, on the second (2nd) floor, third (3rd) floor and all staircases and landings between the first (1st) and third (3rd) floor.
Background
The Department of General Services (DGS) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to procure marble and terrazzo floor restoration services in the Goldstein Treasury Building and House of Delegates building. The services are to be provided under a contract between the successful bidder(s) and the Department of General Services.

Work Details
The scope of work includes providing marble restoration services in specific areas of the Goldstein Treasury Building and House of Delegates building, including cleaning, polishing, sealing, and restoring marble floors to their original look and finish. Additionally, there is a solicitation for Add-Alternate pricing for annual cleaning and sealing of all restored floors specified in the bid.
The contract is intended to include all expected time and materials to successfully complete the project.

Period of Performance
The contract duration is through completion of the project based upon quoted completion timeframe.
Work schedule for each building must be scheduled with Building Managers.

Place of Performance
The primary place of performance includes the Goldstein Treasury Building located at 80 Calvert Street, Annapolis, MD 21401, and the House of Delegates building located at 6 Bladen Street, Annapolis, MD 21401.
