Agency Nurse Services-Kidney Dialysis Tech for Kidney Dialysis Unit Deer's Head Hospital Center

Background
The DEER’S HEAD HOSPITAL CENTER (DHHC), part of the Maryland Department of Health, is seeking to procure Dialysis Service Technicians through this Request for Bids (RFB).
The goal is to ensure the provision of experienced technicians who can prepare, operate, and maintain kidney dialysis equipment as needed by the Center.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide Dialysis Technicians with at least one year of Hemodialysis Technician experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing, operating, and maintaining kidney dialysis equipment;
- Ensuring staff have passed medical examinations;
- Providing necessary training;
- Maintaining documentation for all staff.

Each technician must be certified by the Maryland Office of Health Care Quality and possess a current CPR certification.
The Contractor must also ensure compliance with health testing requirements and provide ongoing training to maintain staff competencies.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for a period of twelve (12) months, beginning on November 1, 2024, and ending on October 31, 2025.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Deer’s Head Hospital Center located at 351 Deer’s Head Hospital Road, Salisbury, MD 21801.
