Description

Work done under this contract will consist of repair and maintenance of stormwater infrastructure throughout the County. This work will include but not be limited to repair and replacement of storm drainpipes, concrete channels, inlet structures, channel outfalls and sinkholes. The Contractor will also need to install pavement, curb and gutter and sidewalks during site restoration.

The Prince George's County Department of Public Works and Transportation is issuing this solicitation for the Stormwater Infrastructure Repair and Maintenance Program. The program aims to maintain and repair stormwater infrastructure throughout the County, ensuring effective drainage and environmental protection. Work Details

Period of Performance
The initial contract term shall be for a minimum period of three (3) years from the date of signing, with potential extensions for up to two additional one-year terms if deemed beneficial for the County.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed throughout Prince George's County, Maryland.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in performing similar work. All contractors involved in asphalt paving must be approved by Prince George’s County as acceptable paving contractors at the time bids are due. Additionally, there are participation requirements mandating that at least 20% of the total contract price must be subcontracted to certified Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and at least 50% to certified County-based small businesses.
