Background
The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is issuing a Small Business Reserve Procurement for janitorial services. This contract is aimed at certified small business vendors who meet the statutory requirements set forth in the State Finance and Procurement Article, §§ 14-501 - 13-505, Annotated Code of Maryland.

The goal of this contract is to provide janitorial services for the Pocomoke Information Center and Rest Area located in Worcester County.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive janitorial services at the Pocomoke Information Center and Rest Area. This includes regular cleaning, maintenance, and sanitation of all facilities within the center and rest area to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for visitors.

Specific tasks may include but are not limited to: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors; cleaning restrooms; replenishing supplies; trash removal; and maintaining outdoor areas as necessary.
