Woodland Bike Park

Background
The Town of Holliston is seeking sealed bids for the construction of a pump track at 260 Woodland Street, including parking and additional site features.
The project aims to enhance recreational opportunities in the area, aligning with the Parks and Recreation Department's mission to provide quality facilities for community engagement.

Work Details
The project will include earthwork, grading, creating a pump track, and miscellaneous improvements.
Contractors are required to supply all materials and labor for the project. The successful bidder must demonstrate experience in constructing bike parks and provide proof of general liability and workers' compensation insurance at the state-required minimum level upon award of the project.
Specific qualifications include:
- Jump Line and Skills Area contractor must have at least five years of experience in building bike parks, provide a portfolio, and references for similar projects.
- Pump Track contractor must also have five years of experience in constructing asphalt paved bicycle pump tracks for all skill levels, along with similar documentation.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence immediately upon award and proceed in a timely manner until project completion, with bids due by July 10, 2026.

The work will be performed at 260 Woodland Street, Holliston, MA 01746.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a bid deposit of not less than 5% of the proposed work value.
They must also submit completed forms including a Bid Price Form, Certificate of Non-Collusion, Certification Regarding Labor Harmony and OSHA Training, Certificate of Tax Compliance, and proof of good standing from the Secretary of Commonwealth.
Additionally, bidders must have an active Massachusetts contractor's license and Business Entity Number.
