UMass System - Prime Lab Supplies Partner

Background
The University of Massachusetts (UMass) is seeking proposals for a Prime Supplier to provide laboratory supplies, chemicals, equipment, and related services. This initiative supports research, teaching, and clinical labs across the UMass system, which includes six distinct campuses: Amherst, Boston, Dartmouth, Lowell, Worcester, and the President’s Office.

The goal of this contract is to ensure that UMass has access to high-quality products and services that meet the diverse needs of its academic and research missions.

Work Details
The selected Prime Supplier will be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of laboratory supplies and equipment necessary for the operation of various labs within the UMass system. This includes but is not limited to: laboratory chemicals, consumables, equipment maintenance services, and technical support.

Specific requirements and scope of work are detailed in Attachment G of the RFP document. Suppliers must demonstrate their capacity to deliver quality products and services that align with UMass's operational needs.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to last for multiple years as specified in the RFP documentation. The exact duration will be determined based on the proposals received and negotiations with the selected vendor.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed across all campuses within the University of Massachusetts system located throughout Massachusetts.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific prerequisites including submission of a Consent Declaration, State Tax Compliance Affidavit, Certification of Non-Collusion, Proposer Representation Form, and Supplier Record Authorization. Additionally, bidders should have relevant certifications if claiming diversity status.
