Work Details
The contract includes the following services:

2. **Reporting and Documentation Requirements**: Vendors must provide documentation for every service performed, including inventory reports detailing AED serial numbers, brand, site addresses, operational status, battery expiration dates, and electrode pad expiration dates.
3. **Inspection Services**: Adherence to manufacturer guidelines during inspections; visual checks for cleanliness and structural integrity; verification of battery and pad expiration; performance of self-tests; operational testing using an AED simulator.
4. **Maintenance Responsibilities**: Replacement of batteries (using specified Duracell 123A batteries) and pads as needed; flexibility for bulk replacements during pre-established hours; mailing options for delivery of supplies.
5. **Deployed AED Protocol**: Provision of a loaner AED within 5 business days if an AED is deployed; retrieval and documentation of event data from deployed units.
Period of Performance
The service contract is expected to commence on March 18, 2026, and extend until December 31, 2027, with potential renewal options.

They must have their principal place of business in Massachusetts, been in business for at least one year, employ 50 or fewer full-time equivalent employees or work less than a combined total of 26,000 hours per quarter, and have gross revenues not exceeding $15 million based on a three-year average.
