Three Phase 27KV Reclosers

Background
The Peabody Municipal Light Plant (PMLP) is seeking bids for the procurement of Three Phase 27KV Reclosers. The PMLP is responsible for providing reliable electric service to the community and aims to enhance its infrastructure with these reclosers, which are essential for maintaining power distribution systems.

Work Details
The contract involves supplying three (3) electronically controlled, automatic three-phase, solid dielectric 27 kV vacuum circuit reclosers. Each recloser must include:

1. Six (6) Low Energy Analog voltage sensors (two per phase).
2. A SEL-651R control unit with a painted 316 stainless steel single door pole mount enclosure, including necessary power supply and battery.
3. Communication ports: fiber optic (single mode), Ethernet port, front panel RS232 port, and rear RS232 port.
4. Specifications include:
- Voltage Rating (Phase to Phase): 27kV
- Continuous Current: 800A
- Rated Symmetrical Interrupting Current: 12.5kA
- Rated BIL: 150kV
- Voltage Sensing: 6 Voltage Sensors
- Lugs: 2-Hole Lug Pad Primary Connector
- Potential Transformer: 13200V:120V, 1kVA, 1PRI
- Controller: SEL-651R
- Mechanical Operations: 10,000.
5. Additional materials required with each recloser include:
- Galvanized steel pole mount center bracket
- Stainless steel mechanism enclosure
- Operations counter
- Grounding provisions
- Manual open and lockout handle with mechanical block
- Dead tank solid dielectric epoxy modules with internal LEA voltage sensors
- Surge arresters
- AC input cable
- Control cable
- High impact wildlife protectors.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be performed within a timeframe that allows for delivery of the reclosers within sixty (60) days from the date of quotation acceptance.

Place of Performance
The delivery location for the reclosers will be designated by Peabody Municipal Light Plant at their job site in Peabody, Massachusetts.
