The Town of Oxford, Massachusetts, is seeking proposals for managed IT services to support multiple town departments. The goal of this contract is to enhance the information technology environment and provide comprehensive IT support services, ensuring efficient operations across various town facilities.
Work Details
The selected firm will provide tier 2 and 3 helpdesk support, application support and development, ongoing maintenance of the current IT environment, network design, recommendations for system enhancements, colocation and cloud support, and assistance with upgrades or changes to existing systems.
Services will include regular and emergency maintenance for approximately 80 users across various locations including the Town Hall, Community Center, Library, Senior Center, Animal Control Departments, and DPW/Facilities. Specific technologies supported include:
- 79 Dell desktops and monitors
- 9 Dell laptops
- CW/Mars networked workstations
- Windows 10 and 11 operating systems
- Microsoft Office 365 suite management including email services
- Adobe Acrobat Standard and Professional software.
The infrastructure includes:
- 2 Dell servers with Hyper-V virtual servers
- Network switches (26)
- Edge Router Infinity
- Wireless access points (21)
- VOIP phones across 14 locations with auto attendants and call groups.
Additional responsibilities include managing data backups with Synology NAS devices and supporting Hikvision cameras at multiple sites.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence on August 1, 2024, and terminate on June 30, 2027.

Proposers must have been in business for at least seven years and possess a minimum of five years' experience supporting municipal clients. A physical location within 25 miles of Oxford Town Hall is required.
