Roof Replacement at the Lakeville Public Library

Background
The Town of Lakeville is issuing a contract for the roof replacement at the Lakeville Public Library. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper removal, disposal, and re-installation of roofing materials to maintain the integrity and safety of the library structure.

Work Details
The work consists of furnishing labor and materials necessary for the removal, disposal, and re-installation of EDPM flat roofing and asphalt shingle roofing. This includes all work incidental to these tasks. Bidders must be certified in the Roofing category of work as per G.L. c.149, §44D.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to follow the timeline outlined in the bid specifications, with bids due on October 16, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Lakeville Public Library, located at 4 Precinct Street, Lakeville, MA.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a bid security consisting of a BID BOND, CASH, or CERTIFIED CHECK equal to 5% of the bid price. A payment bond and performance bond each in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract price will be required. Additionally, bidders must submit a Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAMM) approved Certificate of Eligibility and Update Statement with their bids.
