Description

The City of Quincy, acting through the Department of Public Buildings, is re-issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to pre-qualify Metal Windows Filed Sub-Bid Trade Contractors for the New Squantum School Project. This is the second solicitation for FSB Metal Windows ONLY due to a typographical error that mis-stated the value of the trade at $2,700,000.00 which is $270,000.00
Background
The City of Quincy, through the Department of Public Buildings, is re-issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to pre-qualify Metal Windows Filed Sub-Bid Trade Contractors specifically for the New Squantum School Project.

This re-issuance is necessary due to a typographical error in the previous solicitation that incorrectly stated the value of the trade as $2,700,000.00 instead of the correct amount of $270,000.00.

Work Details
The RFQ aims to pre-qualify Metal Window Trade Contractors under M.G.L. c.149A, section 8 and 810 AMR. 10.00.

Responses from eligible subcontractors will be utilized for pre-qualification for participation in subsequent Requests for Bids related to the project.

Period of Performance
Qualifications will be accepted until Monday, July 21, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Quincy, Massachusetts as part of the New Squantum School Project.

Bidder Requirements
Eligible bidders must comply with M.G.L. c.149A and section 8 requirements for pre-qualification as Metal Windows Filed Sub-Bid Trade Contractors.
