RFQ - North End Community Center

Background
The City of Boston's Public Facilities Department (PFD) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) for design services for the North End Community Center project. The project has an estimated construction cost of $65,000,000 and will be performed under M.G.L. c.149A. The completion period for the project is 182 weeks after the execution of a contract. Applicants must be a registered Architect in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Work Details
The scope of services for the North End Community Center Project includes preparation of schematic design alternatives, Design Development services, development of construction contract documents, procurement services, construction administration services, and final close-out and warranty period.
Applicants must provide the names of key personnel and consultants for various disciplines including Structural, Plumbing, Electrical, Elevator, HVAC, Code Consultant, Cost Estimator, Fire Protection, Fire Alarm, Telecommunications and Data Engineer, Geotechnical, Civil Engineer, Sustainable Design, Lighting Consultant, Specifications Writer, Landscape Architect, Geoenvironmental and Commissioning Consultant.
Applicants must have prior experience on projects in Urban settings, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), Community engagement and Historically Significant settings.

Period of Performance
The completion period for the project is 182 weeks after the execution of a contract.

The North End Community Center project will be performed in Boston, MA.
