RFQ 259002 Braintree Armory Parking Lot Repair

Background
The Massachusetts Army National Guard is seeking a contractor to perform parking lot repairs at the Braintree Armory located at 275 Union St. Braintree, MA 02184. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and functionality of the parking area through necessary repairs.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Removal of approximately 38,000 square feet of existing asphalt pavement.
- Repaving the entire area with new asphalt.
- All labor, tools, and equipment necessary for the completion of these tasks must be provided by the contractor.

Period of Performance
The estimated contract start date is May 21, 2025, with completion expected shortly thereafter upon project award.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Braintree Armory located at 275 Union St. Braintree, MA 02184.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must provide liability insurance naming the Commonwealth as additionally insured before work commences. A payment bond of 50% of the project cost is required for projects exceeding $25K. For projects over $150K, both payment and performance bonds of 100% are required. Contractors must also submit a completed General Bid Form with a lump sum cost for the project scope and include a 5% bid bond with their submission.
