Background
The City of Quincy, Massachusetts, is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) on behalf of the South Coastal Career Development Administration (SCCDA) to select an independent contractor capable of providing IT support services.
The services will support the MassHire South Shore Workforce Development Board, SCCDA, and the MassHire South Shore Career Center, which are co-located in Quincy.
Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments. This includes:
- Managing computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, or other system problems.
- Replacing defective components as necessary.
- Providing managed services for 3 physical servers and 3 virtual servers.
- Supporting approximately 100 workstations and laptops running Windows.
Period of Performance
The contract will be performed until April 30, 2026.
Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the locations of the MassHire South Shore Workforce Development Board and SCCDA at 15 Cottage Avenue in Quincy, as well as the MassHire South Shore Career Center at 1515 Hancock Street in Quincy.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit Non-Price Proposals in a sealed envelope separate from Price Proposals. The proposals must be clearly marked with 'RFP - NON PRICE PROPOSAL ENCLOSED' and 'RFP - PRICE PROPOSAL ENCLOSED.'
